Bible Study - Quick Journey through the Bible

We would like to thank Tom Lococo for leading the Bible study, A Quick Journey Through the Bible. If you were unable to attend, the materials used can be viewed from Ascension Press.

Home Catechists

All Christian parents are responsible for the spiritual formation of their children. They are "the first educators" in the Faith. They have themselves and also other resources for this task, normally found in their parish.

The home catechist program of our parish is based on three presumptions:

  • Parents will regularly meet with the priest and share in common, planned events.
  • Parents will catechize their own children using the Faith & Life Series in union with the archdiocesan catechetical guidelines.
  • Families will actively participate in the parish Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, and other parish events.

Non-parishioners are welcome to participate in the home catechist program, without prejudice to their parish of registration (membership).

Knights of Columbus Roundtable

Kingston's Council #275 serves many local parishes. St Peter's K of C Roundtable puts Knight parishioners at the disposal of the parish priest for whatever purposes are deemed necessary.

The K of C Roundtable's inititve is "an offer to serve". The Knights of Columbus always welcomes new members. St Peter's Knights are represented by Arthur Perry III.
